Selamat Pagi Tuhan
Kubuka jendela kamar,
Tuhan menyapa
“apa yang kau inginkan hari ini?”
“Tuhan” kataku, “merdekakan jiwajiwa tertindas”

Tuhan tersenyum di semerbak mawar

Nuriku berkicau lirih mencium harumnya
kubuka sarangnya
ulurkan tangan
menyentuhnya
Ia menatap tak percaya
aku mengangguk
Ia terbang menuju langit biru
Selamat pagi Tuhan
Terimakasih

God smiles through fragrance of roses

My parrot sings happily enjoying the smell
I open the cage
extend my hand inside
touch her
She looks at me in doubt
I nod my head
She flies to the blue sky
